MECHANICSBURG, Pa. —  Sunbury Press has released the bestsellers list for March. A Short Season, recounting the life of Josiah Viera, a baseball-loving youth battling progeria, climbed to 1st place upon its release.  Jeffrey Geiger’s German Prisoners of War at Camp Cooke, California debuted at #2. Recently released The Most Hated Man in America: Jerry Sandusky and the Rush to Judgment by Mark Pendergrast took the third spot. Mike Campbell’s Amelia Earhart: The Truth at Last held at #4. Joe Regenbogen’s brand new The Boys from Brookdale, about a group of WW2 veterans at the same nursing home, was #5.  Joe Fair’s Vietnam memoir Call Sign Dracula held the 6th spot. John L. Moore had ten of the spots in the bottom half with his books in the Frontier Pennsylvania and Revolutionary Pennsylvania series.

John Cressler’s historical novel “Fortune’s Lament” tops Milford House Press bestsellers for March

MECHANICSBURG, Pa. —  Sunbury Press has released the bestsellers list for March for its Milford House Press fiction imprint. John Cressler’s newly-released Fortune’s Lament debuted in the top spot. Cressler took two other spots with his first two books of the Anthems of al-Andalus Series, Emeralds of the Alhambra at 6th place and Shadows in the Shining City at 9th.  Jess Steven Hughes took the four spots with his historical novels set in Ancient Rome. The Sign of the Eagle, the first book of the series, took second place.The recently-released The Broken Lance was 8th.  The Wolf of Britannia Part I was twelfth, while its partner, Part II, was 13th. Joan West’s first book in the Carlisle Crime Cases series, Dying for Vengeance, returned to the rankings at #3. Marie Sontag took four places on the chart with her YA novels: The Alabaster Jar in 5th, The Bronze Dagger in 6th, Rising Hope in 10th, and The Silver Coin in 11th. William Lemanski held 7th place with his murder ystery, Murder in Tuxedo Park. David Parmalee’s historical romance set around the time of the Civil War, The Sea Is a Thief, slid to 14th. Dennis Herrick slipped to fifteenth place with his historical Winter of the Metal People. New releases The Bartered Body by J R Lindermuth and Trolls in the Attic by Joanie Findle debuted at 16th and 20th respectively. Mark Mitten took two places with his western novels, 18th for Sipping Whiskey in a Shallow Grave and 19th for Hard to Quit.

Cressler’s novels sold briskly in advance of his new releases. Hughes’ books continue to sell well through bookstore events in the Pacific Northwest. MECHANICSBURG, Pa. —  Sunbury Press has released the bestsellers list for March for its horror/thriller imprint, HELLBENDER BOOKS. The Devil’s Grasp, the first in The Vengeful Prince Saga trilogy by authors Brian Koscienski and Chris Pisano ruled the nether regions. Keith Rommel claimed half of the list with his recently-released crimed thriller Southside Sinners in the second spot, psycho thrillers The Sinful Man third and The Cursed Man ninth, and supernatural thrillers The Devil Tree in 5th and The Devil Tree 2 in eighth. Veteran author Thomas Malafarina grabbed fourth with his novel Fallen Stones and the final position on the chart with Burner.  Kyle Alexander Romine’s The Keeper of the Crows slipped to 6th. Michael Hawley’s The Ripper’s Hellbroth returned to the rankings at #7.

MECHANICSBURG, Pa. —  Sunbury Press has released the bestsellers list for March for its spiritual/metaphysical imprint, ARS METAPHYSICA. Susan Kiskis debuted in the top spot with her new travel memoir Let Me Carry You Home recounting her recent trips to India. Anna-Karin Bjorklund’s The Dream Alchemist, as a travel memoir, returned to the list at #2. Lebanese author Karim El Koussa rounded out the top 5, taking third place with his popular well-researched alternative history of the life of Jesus Christ entitled Jesus the Phoenician. El Koussa also took fourth place with his metaphysical fiction novel The Phoenician Code for which a French version was just released. Lastly, he grabbed fifth place with his fictionalized life of Pythagoras, Pythagoras the Mathemagician. Michelle Hoffer was next in sixth place with her new release Soaring Minds Journal and Workbook which is designed to assist women with recovering from abusive relationships. The Peoples’ Medium, Michele Livingston, took the seventh spot with her visionary Living in the Afterlife, revealing her channeling of information from the other side.  She also nabbed the 8th spot with her previous release Messages from Beyond.

Michael Barton’s humorous fictional ethnography of the Shipoke, aka Shitepoke, a neighborhood of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, ranked number one.  Tory Gates took the second position with his novel Live from the Cafe. Robert Barksy’s entertaining novel Hatched about a counterfeiting ring that starts in a gourmet restaurant in New York took the third spot. William F. Lee’s grief memoir All My Heroes Are Gone slipped to #4.

Recently released The Most Hated Man in America: Jerry Sandusky and the Rush to Judgment by Mark Pendergrast took the top spot for the second month in a row. Charles Kniffen’s Vietnam memoir, Fifty Years in a Foxhole was second. Mike Campbell’s Amelia Earhart: The Truth at Last climbed to #3. Embattled Freedom, Jim Remsen’s recounting of the underground railroad and Civil War service of African Americans from Waverly, Pennsylvania, was 4th. Joe Fair’s Vietnam memoir Call Sign Dracula returned to the list in the 5th spot. Geoffrey Barber’s romantic Three Rogues at Gettysburg, a historical novel set after the battle, took first place. Veteran author Thomas Malafarina claimed four of the top five spots! Newly released short story compilation Malaformed Realities Volume 2 was the top-seller. Malaformed Realities Volume 3, also just released, was a close second. Kyle Alexander Romine’s supernatural thriller The Keeper of the Crows fell to third place after a long reign at the top. Tom’s supernatural thriller about the devil speaking through a cell phone, Burner, was 4th. His supernatural thriller about a blood-thirsty demon dwelling in a coal mine in Schuylkill County, Pennsylvania, What Waits Beneath, rounded out the list.
