Meet the Team
Founder & CEO
Lawrence Knorr has been involved with book publishing since 2000. He holds an MBA from Penn State University, and is a Project Management Professional (PMP), and Certified Scrum Master (CSM). Lawrence’s 30+ year career in information technology, as a programmer, analyst, project manager, CEO, and Chief Information Officer has prepared him well for the “Age of Content” – the era of eBooks, data integration, eCommerce, and networks. Lawrence has taught business and economics courses for over fifteen years at local colleges and is the author or co-author over twenty books. He is also an award-winning digital artist. Lawrence often speaks or is a panelist at numerous writers conferences and book fairs.
Vice President of Marketing and Publicity
Tammi Knorr, a former Deloitte consultant, has been with Sunbury Press since 2010. She also has enjoyed a 20+ year career in information technology and currently manages our e-Commerce store, marketing, and publicity. Tammi is also a very talented photographer and graphic artist and designs many of our marketing materials.
Director of Fiction Imprints
Chris Fenwick is a writer, project manager, and e-commerce professional. She returns to Sunbury Press, having spent the last ten years as E-commerceDirector in both for-profit and non-profit businesses. Her first novel, the 100th human, remains one of Sunbury Press’ all-time best sellers.
Jennifer is an editor, writer, and mother of three—five, if you count the dogs—living with her husband and family in Linglestown, PA. She holds an AA in Secondary English Education from Harrisburg Area Community College, a BA in English from Penn State, and an MFA in Creative Writing with a certificate in publishing from Chatham University. Her partial novel, “Fixed,” won runner-up for best thesis in Chatham University’s 2013 fiction category. She established an independent press while at Chatham, publishing a poetry chapbook (Chalk & Fire, Melrose Publishing, 2012) for an up-and-coming poet. Jennifer has served as editor for two college literary journals, has had poems published in HACC’s Wildwood Journal, and serves annually as a Scholastic Writing Contest judge. She loves to read, write, knit, cook, and travel. Jennifer has been editing for Sunbury Press since 2011.
Crystal has been with Sunbury Press since 2015. She holds an AAS degree in Communication Design, Business Management, and Computerized Data Management. She coordinates our interior book designs and proofing, as well as creates our eBooks. She is also a freelance graphic designer with twenty years of industry experience in print and web design. She thoroughly enjoys her work and author satisfaction is her top priority. She loves cooking, crocheting, off-road Jeeping, hosting exchange students, backyard bird watching, and spending time with family. She also enjoys volunteering as a Work Share at a local organic vegetable farm, helping out with the CSA program. She lives in Carlisle with her husband, daughter, and cat Mr. Knuckles.
Social Media, Publicity, and Graphic Artist
Terry wears a number of hats, assisting with our social media campaigns, company publicity, and various graphic designs. Terry has a BA in Art from Shippensburg University and is an international fine artist.
Allyson Quinn has been with Sunbury Press since 2011, and she also works as a technical writer. She holds a BA in English from Penn State. Allyson lives in Florida with her husband where their house is a series of home renovation projects. Her children are the guinea pigs she fosters through St. Pete Critters.
Erika discovered her love of the written word as a child, reading to elderly neighbors and peers in the small Amish town where she grew up in western Pennsylvania. She received her BA from Clarion University in English with a concentration in creative writing, and is pursuing her MA in English Literature from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. In her spare time, she enjoys hiking and being outdoors with her rescued furchild, Ambrose, taking care of her 30+ houseplants, and crafting. Erika has been working with Sunbury Press since 2017.
A graduate of the history department of Messiah College, Alyssa has been involved with nearly every stage of a book’s life: from compiling the research to get one written to preserving those written centuries ago in a museum. Prior to graduation, she’d held positions at the PA House of Representatives Archives, the Morristown National Historical Park Museum and Library, Messiah College Murray Library, and as Research Assistant to the History Department at Messiah. She’s currently living in York, PA also working as an underwriting assistant and finding any excuse to travel wherever she can.
Riaan is a Graphic Designer and Visual Artist who brings to the table a BTech in Multimedia and 5 years experience in Graphic Design, working as Graphic Designer in Advertising, Higher Education, and Landscape architecture. Passionate about ideas, Riaan found a niche for himself in the Publishing industry, working as an independent freelance creative with publishers in South Africa, the United Kingdom, and The United States. Riaan’s design style has been described by a co-lecturer lecturing with him in Graphic Design as reminiscent of the ‘New York School’ style. Elena Dudina is a Book and CD cover designer, digital artist, photo-manipulator, photo fantasizer … born in Russia. Her father was a military fighter pilot, so she moved a lot. She spent her childhood and youth moving from one place to another–from Estonia to Latvia, even from the Arctic to Ukraine and seven years in Siberia. She has been living in Spain (Madrid) since 2002. Her husband is Spanish. She has always drawn and painted since she was a child.
